FSU today released details of the contracts for football coaches Bobby Bowden and Jimbo Fisher:
* Fisher, the offensive coordinator and head coach-in-waiting, will receive a $2.5 million buyout if Fisher does not succeed Bowden as head coach.
* Fisher also received a $200,000 raise, which brings his annual total salary to $625,000. His contract includes a clause that says Fisher will not entertain offers from any other football programs, either collegiate or professional.
* For Bobby Bowden, his contract is a one-year addendum to his contract with FSU worth up to $2.5 million. Bowden will receive a $1 million bonus when he retires. Not bad for someone who has had an average record at best for several years now.
