Ranking The ACC Atlantic Division Coaches

These rankings may get some debate but here goes:

1. Jim Grobe- Wake Forest- How can you not put him on top given what he has done at such a small university. He knows how to develop talent and coach.

2. Bobby Bowden- Florida State- His body of work and his impressive ACC titles and victories until recently puts him close to the top.

3. Tom O'Brien- NC State- O'Brien is a top coach that will have NC State competitive. At BC, he won more games in a decade than any coach in Boston College history. While head coach, BC won six bowl games.

4. Tommy Bowden- Clemson- I am surprised that Bowden has not been fired at Clemson. He has won a lot of games but never been to a BCS game nor won the ACC and every year, he does c-h-o-k-e. This could be another choke year for an overrated coach.

5. Ralph Friedgen- Maryland- Friedgen is a lot like Tommy Bowden. He has been disappointing amid some success.

6. Jeff Jagodzinski- Boston College- He is yet to prove himself. In his first year at BC, he was working with players that O'Brien had recruited and one of them was Matt Ryan.
