Tight Ends Score Big On Monday

Tight end U for years now has been at Miami where they have successfully integrated their tight ends into the offense. Could FSU be pointing in that direction? QB Christian Ponder on Monday hit on 6 of 11 passes for 95 yards and two red-zone touchdown passes to tight end Caz Piurowski. Piurowski made both catches while being closely guarded by the FSU defense. The tight ends accounted for all three touchdowns on Monday.

“Be sure to tell all the mothers that have tight ends for sons that our tight ends caught (three) touchdown passes,” FSU head coach Bobby Bowden said.
