    FSU Player Focus: Antone Smith

Antone Smith will be the top running back for the Noles going into his junior year and the 2007 season now that Lorenzo Booker has graduated. In the 2006 season, Smith carried the ball for almost 500 yards and 5 TDs. He also had 174 receiving yards. His combination of strength and speed make him equally tough to stop running inside or hitting the corners.

In 2005, Smith had limited playing time behind Booker and Leon Washington. He carried the ball for almost 200 yards .
