There is speculation that Clemson might open the 2007 football season with Florida State in Death Valley on Labor Day.
Clemson sports information director Tim Bourret confirmed that the game was "a possibility," but it was not yet official.
The Seminoles have scheduled each of the past three seasons to open on Labor Day against Miami.
FSU coach Bobby Bowden said before last season he wanted to return the game with the Hurricanes to a later date. Ironically, Labor Day this year may be the best time to play Miami with all their coaching changes.
