Antwane Greenlee is a soft commitment, but not to Florida State. The 6'6" 302 pound four-star tackle committed to FSU last spring but then decommitted and gave Georgia a verbal pledge back in August. Greenlee is shaping up to be a must sign for the Seminoles since the Noles are desperately in need of a couple quality offensive tackles. He will be making an official visit to FSU this weekend.
Evaluation: Greenlee is a big physical mauler in the trenches. Right now there is not a whole lot of technique being used but he brings a nasty attitude to every snap which allows him to get the job down. He gets off the ball well and delivers a good initial pop. He gets good hand placement but has a habit of cocking back his arms first. He has the ability to push the pile in the run game. He will stop his feet on contact at times and will have to get himself started again. He displays good strength though to be able to still move defenders out despite not having great position or having to move his feet again. He is now more of a grappling type blocker who physically steers defenders away from the ball more then a straight ahead drive blocker. He as the ability to step down and wash defenders along the line. He displays good feet and the ability to step and get position on players on the edge. He displays the ability to be a solid pass blocker that can mirror rushers. He has the ability to punch and deliver a blow to knock rushers off course. Greenlee is a prospect with upside. It looks like now he is getting along with physical ability, but will need to clean up his game some to get the most out of his skills at the next level. With some work he could be a physically punishing and tough blocker at the college level.
He is currently committed to Georgia but it is considered "soft".He is the #13 ranked offensive linemen in the country
