FSU President T.k. Wetherell answered critics of the FSU football program by saying the following on Saturday: "It's all going to work out. You don't change horses in midstream. You don't step on Superman's cape, and you don't sell Coca-Cola stock if you live in Gadsden County.
This kind of statement is indicative of an arrogance that is taking this program downward. I am not sure what it will take for the president to understand that it is time for wholesale changes. A half empty stadium? Booster contributions declining? No bowl game? A losing season?
It is time for leadership and if he cannot exercise that leadership, maybe he should step aside and let someone do what is necessary.
