Florida State quarterback Xavier Lee will start Saturday's game against Virginia, FSU head coach Bobby Bowden said after practice Monday.
Lee had a strong performance in his first start in FSU's 27-24 loss to Maryland on Saturday in place of injured Drew Weatherford.
Weatherford was wearing a walking boot and didn't practice Monday. He also is expected to be out Tuesday. Bowden hopes he'll be available on Saturday if needed.
