Bobby Bowden said Monday ''it would take a miracle'' for injured starters Brandon Warren and Geno Hayes to return for FSU's game Saturday against Boston College.
Warren, a freshman tight end who ranks second on the team with 15 receptions, pulled a hamstring at Duke. Hayes, a sophomore linebacker, sprained his knee ligaments.
''It's kind of shaky right now,'' said Hayes, second on the team with 29 tackles. ``If it feels all right on Thursday, I'll be out there.''
