    Inside FSU Football

Seminoles QB Drew Weatherford wants the entire team to meet privately without coaches."I think it's definitely something that needs to be done," Weatherford said Monday.

Evidently, Weatherford's wish will come true. Whispers of a players-only meeting are now circulating, and it looks as if the players will meet prior to leaving town for Saturday's game at Maryland.

LB Jae Thaxton returned to practice (no contact) for the first time since suffering a severe concussion against Clemson. He has missed the last four games.
Thaxton said his symptoms have nearly disappeared and that he hopes to be cleared by doctors to play against Maryland.

"It felt real good," Thaxton said of putting pads on for the first time in more than a month. "I hope [to get cleared], but I've been hoping that for the last couple of weekends. We'll see."
