When reporters covering Boston College spotted Matt Ryan wearing a walking cast, the ACC's top passer referred all questions to his head coach. But Tom O'Brien wasn't much help either during his scheduled ACC teleconference Wednesday, as far as Ryan's left foot/ankle injury is concerned.
O'Brien reiterated that it will be a game-time decision whether Ryan plays. FSU coaches are preparing as if Ryan will start on Saturday. Ryan leads the ACC with 233.2 yards per game. He is sixth in passing efficiency.
Boston College will have kicker Ryan Ohliger back after he was reinstated following his suspension for violating team rules. Ohliger missed the Virginia Tech game. In his absence, Steve Aponavicius entered the national spotlight after he made two PATs and two field goals in the victory over Virginia Tech.
