    QUOTES

    Head Coach Bobby Bowden

(Is there a sense of urgency about the Boston College game?)

"Both of us got to have it. They are better off than we are since they got one and we got two. We essentially have to win this one and they do too so both of us are going to really play."

(Do you have any concerns with the heat and playing in all black uniforms?)

"I would rather have heat in black than cold in white. There is not a lot of difference between black and dark red"

(On Recardo Wright and Dekoda Watson's play during the Duke game)

"They played well for having less experience. This will be another dimension this week against Boston College. They are a very physical football team that can run at you and test you pretty good."

(Did you feel that the second half of the Boston College game last year was a defining moment for Drew Weatherford?)

"Yes I thought it was. When you think about him being a freshman last year and us being behind and coming back in the fourth quarter like he did, it was really big for him."

    (On Boston College's defense)

"Very solid physical defense and they are very sound. They are a team where you can forget trick plays because they are always in position. Trick plays are when people get out of position. We do not see that many people down here playing defense the way that they do it but they are big and strong and can do it."

    TE Caz Piurowski

(How important is it for you to be effective running and catching the football?)

"With Brandon (Warren) he has a little more receptions than me. So now I am going to have to step up and do what he has been doing and catch the ball and gain some yards."

(On his chance to shine with the increased role of the tight end)

"It gives me the opportunity to prove myself and show everyone what I can do."

    DL Alex Boston

(On the status of his injury)

"We are going to try and go on it Saturday. They have been holding me back this week so that I will be able to go this Saturday."

(Is there a sense of urgency to get out there?)

"Of course it is Boston College and we already have two losses in the ACC. I just want to be there for the guys. We have a lot of young guys that I want to be able to help as much as I can."
