    FSU Recruit Prospect: Chris Little

When is "little" big? Well, when you are Chris Little, a 6-foot-6, 340-pound offensive lineman from Twiggs County in Georgia, who chose FSU over Georgia and Notre Dame.

Analysis: Little is a physically imposing prospect at the offensive tackle position. He has very good size, and when he is able to put it all together, he can be a force. He is capable of delivering a pop on contact with defenders. He does a good job of getting hand placement. He shows good lower-body strength to pump his legs and get movement off the line of scrimmage in the run game. He more then has the physical tools to regularly create daylight. He is not overly explosive and at times can catch defenders instead of delivering the blow. He has the size and strength to be able to recover and redirect defenders, but with his size and ability, you would like to see him be more consistently dominating. Like many players with his height, he needs to work on and be aware of his pad level. He can wash defenders down when he has an angle. He moves well for a big man and looks comfortable when asked to block on the move. He can get up to the second level, get a piece of moving targets and do a good job of staying under control and covering up defenders in space. As a pass protector, Little has the size to be able to anchor versus the bull rush. He displays the athleticism to be able to get back and mirror defenders. He has the reach to ride rushers past the pocket. Little has good upside -- they do not build many players with his size and ability. A redshirt might benefit him, but he has the skills to develop into a force in the trenches at the college level.

He is #12 OT in the nation. He made his commitment to Florida State at the Army All American Bowl on Jan.6.
