Who Will Be The New O.C.?

The search for a new offensive coordinator is more difficult than anticipated. So who will be the new O.C. for the Noles?

    1. Jimbo Fisher- He was obviously the number one candidate for the Noles. Fisher it seems is jacking FSU around. He would be the best candidate in terms of experience and recruiting but one has to wonder about his character. He probably is about 50/50 at this point.

    2. Steve Sarkisian- He is the assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach at USC. He spent the 2004 season as the quarterbacks coach with the Oakland Raiders. His quarterbacks passed for more than 4,000 yards in 2004 as Oakland ranked eighth in passing in the NFL. He obviously has a high powered offense at USC but has less experince and recruiting would be a concern. He is a possibility.

    3. Chris Petersen- Thinking outside the box. Why not go after the head coach at Boise State who has an innovative offense? The 42-year old first-year head coach took the reigns of the Bronco program on January 1, 2006, after five seasons as the schools offensive coordinator with the plan of continuing Boise State’s nearly unparalleled success over the previous seven seasons. Petersen not only continued the success that saw Boise State win six conference championships in seven years, while qualifying for six bowl games, but he took it one step further. The school’s first ever trip to a BCS bowl game, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma. Outside and long shot at best.

    4. Who else?- FSU needs as Bowden has said an offensive coordinator with imagination. It also is important that we secure someone asap.
