The Noles have grabbed their eighth verbal commitment for 2008.Defensive tackle Moses McCray (6-foot-4, 270 pounds) of Tampa Middleton High becomes the seventh high-school prospect to commit to FSU since last month's spring game.
McCray, the seventh defensive player to commit to FSU, confirmed his decision late Wednesday. He said opportunity on FSU's defensive line after the 2007 season figured into his decision. So did defensive-line coach Odell Haggins, who recruited him.
“I've been a 'Nole fan since I was little," McCray said. "(Haggins) is from the same area (Bartow). He's a religious man. He's real cool and nice. He's a good person.”

I think it is great but I cannot figure out why. FSU now has 8 comitments and all but one are on the defensive side of the ball. The new coaches are all on the offense.
Chuck Amato is on the defensive side and he is new. Notsure why either but good to see it happening.
