Terps Shell Shocked As Noles Win 24-16

With weather that felt like November,the Noles managed to overcome a sluggish second half and defeat the Terps 24-16 for their seventh win of the season. Next on tap are the Gators in Gainesville.

The first quarter looked as if the Noles might go cruising as they led 14-3 on touchdowns by Weatherford and Parker. The second quarter ended up 21-6 as Weatherford hit Fagg for a 10 yard touchdown and the Terps got another FG.

The third quarter saw the Noles doing nothing while Maryland got a TD and trailed the Noles 21-13. A Cismesia FG in the fourth quarter and a stout Nole defense sealed the victory as the Noles allowed only a late Terp FG and went on to win 24-16.
