There is no question that second year head coach Tom O'Brien has his work cut out for him. Last Year, NC State was 5-7, 3-5 in the ACC. The Wolfpack did have a four-game winning streak in mid-season. However injuries and other factors saw the team lose its last two.
This year's offense should be improved but the question mark is at the quarterback position. Daniel Evans threw 14 touchdown passes but 23 interceptions last year. Russell Wilson will be competing with Evans for the starting position in 2008. The defense will be a work in progress.
NC State has a pretty tough ACC schedule in 2008 and it may be tough for the Wolfpack to improve upon their 2007 record.
FSU It's Time Ranking Prediction: Tom O'Brien is attempting to bring a tough and disciplined philosophy to Raleigh. It will be a work in progress in 2008. I am picking the Wolfpack to finish at # 6 in the Atlantic Division in 2008.
