Ranking The ACC Coastal Division Teams: Virginia Tech

The defending ACC champions will begin the upcoming season as the favorites to win at least the Coastal Division again. The Hokies did lose a lot through graduation and dismissals but it seems there is always talent at Virginia Tech.

The Hokies have big question marks at running back and receiver. In addition, there is a QB battle going on between Sean Glennon and Tyrod Taylor. On defense, they have lost some significant players that they must replace. Senior CB Victor "Macho" Harris has been moved to the boundary corner position as well as being used as a return man and receiver.

It seems as if the Hokies have their work cut out for them but this is a weak Coastal Division and there is probably not a team that could challenge the Hokies this year.

FSU It's Time Ranking Prediction: Although there are question marks, the Hokies are always known for their tough defenses. This year will probably not be any different. I am picking the Hokies to finish at # 1 in the Coastal Division in 2008.
