How far down is the FSU football program? Word now comes that season ticket sales for the 2008 season are down 6% from last year. Reasons given are the high fuel costs for alumni to travel to the game.
Not to mention two consecutive 7-6 seasons, an academic fraud case pending, and a head coach and university president that are in deep denial.
It is interesting to note that the Gators are once again sold out for season tickets so apparently fuel costs are not a problem in Gainesville. In addition season tickets sales at the University of Miami and USF are up in 2008.
