EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Florida State coach Bobby Bowden and former University of Michigan athletic director Donald Canham will be honored as recipients of the Duffy Daugherty Memorial Awards for 2006.
The Daugherty award was first presented in 1992 and honors the memory of the winningest Michigan State football coach. It is given for lifetime achievement and outstanding contributions to amateur football.
