This is not the way you want to start a season. FSU will be without five players for the opening game against Clemson. Coach Bobby Bowden said Friday that wide receiver Joslin Shaw and defensive end Kevin McNeil have been suspended for the game for violating team rules.
Tight end Matt Dunham (ankle) and running back Russell Ball (shoulder) are out with injuries.Walk-on linebacker Jeremy Franklin will be unavailable for unspecified reasons.
