FSU Sports Information Excerpts:
After two weeks of build-up and waiting, the Seminoles are inching closer to their date with Alabama. One of the most anticipated regular season games in recent memory is now just a couple of days away. The Florida State football team finished its preparations for the game with Alabama with a 15 period practice on Thursday. The team was in shorts and spent the majority of the day once again working versus the scout teams. FSU will board the buses and depart for Jacksonville Friday afternoon. The game with the 22nd-ranked Crimson Tide (3-1) will be broadcast to a national TV audience on CBS.
Head Coach Bobby Bowden
On the hype before the game:
"I think it will be a very interesting football game. Two teams with great tradition that haven't played each other in many, many years. You can just tell by the reaction of the tickets that are sold it's really a popular game."
