Jon Solomon of The Birmingham News reported that Nick Saban was not too happy because according to him"Alabama was "out-toughed." He spoke of the mental and physical toughness established by Florida State on offense and special teams.
The Associated Press quoted Saban as saying this about the defense of the Noles,"I've been part of some great defensive teams as a coach and I've played against quite a few and they're up there with the best of them".
