The Seminoles held a light practice in shells for 26 periods on Friday afternoon, focusing mainly on fundamentals and segment drills. The first full scrimmage of the spring will be held on Saturday so contact was kept to a minimum Friday. There were two periods of pass skeleton (7-on-7) and two periods of 11-on-11 at the end of practice. In 7-on-7, Derek Nicholson and Myron Rolle had interceptions while Tony Carter and Korey Mangum added pass break-ups. In 11-on-11, Lawrence Timmons broke up a pass and also forced a fumble on a sack. For the offense, Drew Weatherford was able to find Richard Goodman for a 15-yard gain. The coaches worked on punting at the beginning of the day with Graham Gano, Brent Moody and John McKnight splitting time at punter. Chris Davis, Richard Goodman, Russell Ball, Tony Carter and De'Cody Fagg alternated as punt returners.
