Let me make this clear. I am no big fan of the small minded folks who govern the NCAA. Remember their politically correct position to ban the Seminole nickname? These guys in my opinion are hypocrites and look the other way when certain schools may be involved in an impropriety. Take for example USC.
Does anyone recall Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush who was alleged to have been paid for over two years by prospective agent Lloyd Lake. He was supposedly paid $300,000 in cash, cars and other gifts for the benefit of him and his family! In fact the sports agent met with the NCAA 17 months ago.
In addition, a book was published called "Tarnished Heisman," detailing all of the cash, gifts and NCAA rules broken. As with FSU, there is no proof that the USC coaches were involved or knew anything about it. However, if these moral dimwits would apply the FSU standard toward USC, then at the very least, they would have to "vacate" the 2004 national championship.
Can you say double standard?

Hey Nolefan,
You've got a ridiculously comprehensive blog here. I can only imagine the time it takes to keep it so full of stats, player links, articles, etc.
I'm not sure what your following is like, but I think I can help you get a larger audience. I'm at www.collegefanz.com, the largest college sports site on the net. We're looking for more Seminoles content and I think we can work something out here.
Our free blogs can be beneficial to you. Whenever you please, you can post a selected blog entry/article at collegefanz.com, and at the end of the post, you can link to your FSUITSTIME blog. We're not looking for anything exclusive.
This setup would be nice because you would get a lot more views due to our massive userbase, and we would get some more FSU news up on the site!
Take a look around and let me know what you think at mgleeson@collegefanz.com
Mike
