For those of you who may have missed the score, FSU's opening opponent, Western Carolina, won their first game with a 35-0 shutout victory over the Shorter College Hawks on Thursday night.
The win snapped a seven-game losing skid which dated back to last season, while also extending Western's winning streak in home openers to 11-straight.
