In 119 years of football at Colorado, there have only been two freshmen that have turned in a more impressive rushing performance than what Colorado running back Rodney Stewart did against West Virginia last Thursday night. Stewart had 166 yards on 28 carries against West Virginia.
Colorado safety D.J. Dykes had to be taken to the hospital last Tuesday after suffering from a severe stomach virus. He was held out of the West Virginia game and was replaced in the lineup by redshirt freshman Anthony Perkins. Dykes said he expects to play this week aginst the Noles.
Fans at the FSU-Colorado game in Jacksonville will not be able to see the Colorado mascot, Ralphie V. Ralphie V is a buffalo who is the latest mascot for the Buffs. Jacksonville is too far for Ralphie V to travel for a regular-season game, when she has to be back in Folsom Field the following Saturday for the Texas game.
