Chattanooga has been playing with two QBs in their first two games of the season. It looks as if the starting Chattanooga QB will be Tony Pastore who had a good game against Cumberland last Saturday. Chattanooga head coach Rodney Alllison said earlier in the week that Pastore will likely make his first start of the season this Saturday at Florida State. Pastore’s first career start was a forgettable one, last season at Jacksonville State when he threw four interceptions and fumbled twice in a 33-19 loss. For the year, the 6-3, 200 pound junior has 340 yards passing and 3 TDs. According to Chattanooga, Pastore had a very solid spring.
For the Noles, Christian Ponder will have his second start of the season. Against WCU, Ponder had 196 yards passing, 3 TDs, and no INTs. He also ran for 39 yards.Look for Richardson to play again against Chattanooga. Richardson had 57 yards passing and 1 TD after coming in for Ponder in the third quarter. He also ran for an additional 68 yards and 2 TDs.
