FSU's next opponent, the Chattanooga Mocs (1-1) overcame a sloppy first half to pull away to a 47-6 win over Cumberland (1-1) in the Mocs’ home opener. Chattanooga used a dynamic passing attack gaining 368 yards in the air. Chattanooga lost their first game 2-57 to Oklahoma.
