Noles Self Destruct As Wake Makes It Three In A Row

To paraphrase a Robert Frost poem, the Noles have miles to go. The scores and wins by the Noles in the first two games was merely an illusion. To put it quite simply, the Nole offense was offensive. Kudos to Mickey Andrews who was still missing major players and yet kept the score close by the play of the defense.

Jimbo Fisher has some real soul searching to do after this game. To put it nicely, FSU's offense was awful! Both quarterbacks showed FSU fans nothing. Penalties and turnovers showed that this offense was not ready to play this game. I have not witnessed this awful a game played by the Noles in a long time.

The Noles were humiliated once again by a decent but not great Wake Forest team. Although the final score was 12-3, the game was not that close. Wake wins three in a row over the Noles and it's apparent that the Noles have miles to go before they are back.
