Did Noles Make The Grade Against WCU?

Context is important as we have to remember this was Western Carolina. With that said, here are my grades:

Offensive Line: Offensive line did a good job against WCU and did not allow a sack.
Grade: A

Running Game: Smith did a good job as well as the backups. Would be good to see Smith in for full game.
Grade: B+

QB: Christian Ponder had a good first outing and Richardson showed why he is so talked about by the coaches.
Grade: A

Offensive Coaching: What's not to like about a 69-0 rout?
Grade: A

Receivers: Lot of activity among a number of receivers but no outstanding play among any.
Grade: B

Defense and Defensive Coaching: Noles were lacking key players on defense which played decent and recorded three sacks. First half was sluggish for defense. Secondary did not have an INT which is a concern.
Grade: B

Penalties: Noles had some stupid penalties and some questionable calls.
Grade: B-

Kicking Game: Kicking game overall was good but once again we miss an easy field goal.
Grade: B
