The Noles won on the ground and the defense for the most part played a great game:
Offensive Line: Rick Trickett's offensive line allowed no sacks and blocked well enough for Smith to run wild.
Grade: B+
Running Game: Antone Smith had a great game that saw him rush for 154 yards.
Grade: A
QB: Ponder completed just 10-of-22 passes for 119 yards and a freak interception. He does not look confident.
Grade: C
Offensive Coaching: Fisher decided that the run was the way to go against Colorado. One dimensional football however will get a team beaten down the road.
Grade: B-
Receivers: Poor showing by receivers but that in part could be Fisher's game plan also. Parker and Surrency had no catches. Carr had only 3 catches for minimal yardage and no TD.
Grade: C
Defense and Defensive Coaching: Good defensive effort although there were some breakdowns on Colorado TDs. Secondary continues to be a question mark.
Grade: B+
Penalties: Another horrible day for the Noles. Will they ever learn?
Grade: F
Special Teams/Kicking Game: Special teams was excellent as they had a blocked punt and a kickoff return for a TD. Gano was perfect on both extra points and field goals.
Grade: A
