* Despite Bobby Bowden asking fans to come to the stadium early, there were not a lot of fans in the stands an hour before kickoff.
* Rain and lightening may have dampened the game but the drainage system for the field seems to be working fine.
* Saw an elderly gentlemen probably in his late eighties in a walker walking down the FSU sidelines. He eventually found his way to Bobby Bowden who shared a few moments with him. Very classy.
* New scoreboard and ribbon signs are nice but I could do without the nonstop ads.
* I detest the Gators but I think we have a long way to go before our fans will pack the stadium as the Gators do for even lower tier opponents.
* Can someone tell me what the rationale is behind the digital ticketing? There seemed to be the same number of people at the gates handling tickets.

From a student's point-of-view, there is no incentive for students to enter the stadium an hour before kickoff. One of the best parts of the game experience is tailgating. Who wants to leave that in order to sit on a hard metal bench for an hour doing nothing? When it's game time, students show up. I know quite a lot of students who, when the rain delay came out, stayed outside in the student's section and got soaked. Smart? Maybe not. Dedicated? You better believe it.
Regarding the electronic tickets, maybe this will help clarify rationale for the move:
