Ten Recruits Visit FSU This weekend

Ten football recruits are visiting Florida State this weekend.

Two are committed to the Seminoles -- fullback Seddrick Holloway of Lincoln High and tight end Caz Piurowski of Land O' Lakes.

In recruiting circles, Holloway and Piurowski are considered solid commitments. That simply means they are not likely to change their minds prior to Wednesday's National Signing Day.

A third player in the group also is committed.

But receiver Alex Rose, of Jacksonville First Coast, is committed to Auburn. FSU, of course, is hoping to change Rose's allegiance to the Seminoles this weekend. Rose grew up a fan of FSU and has indicated he's interested in the Seminoles.

"They have to make me feel comfortable," Rose told Rivals.com

"I want to get out there and play. ... That's the school I liked growing up. It plays a factor because if I go to FSU, I won't have to find the passion."

FSU has yet to receive a commitment from a receiver. Receivers still be on the Seminoles' recruiting board include Brent Brewer of Tyrone, Ga., Damon McDaniel of Virginia Beach, Va., Greg Mathews of Orlando, Preston Parker of Delray Beach Atlantic and Rose.

Brewer is visiting FSU this weekend. McDaniel has committed to Florida but is said to be wavering. Mathews is committed to Michigan, while Parker lists Miami as a favorite.
