Florida State's most pressing need this recruiting season has been along the offensive line.
While the Seminoles have added needed commitments, they lost out on highly regarded Brandon Walker this morning. Walker, a junior-college All-American from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, announced to Rivals.com he would attend Okalahoma.
Walker, who said he grew up a fan of FSU, selected the Sooners over the Seminoles.
FSU has received commitments from five offensive linemen -- tackle Shannon Boatman, who already is enrolled at FSU; tackle Matt Hardrick (Hargrave Military Academy); guard Evan Bellamy (Miami Gulliver Prep); guard Brandon Davis (Miami); and guard/center Zach Hillery (Winter Springs).
Other linemen still considering FSU include Daron Rose of Tampa Jefferson, Orlando Franklin of Delray Beach Atlantic and Clifton Geathers of Carvers Bay, S.C. Rose is scheduled to visit FSU this weekend.
FSU also has received commitments from two tight ends -- Caz Piurowski of Land O'Lakes and Brandon Warren of Alcoa, Tenn. Piurowski is a former teammate of FSU quarterback Drew Weatherford and the son of former FSU linebacker Paul
