    QUOTES

    Head Coach Bobby Bowden

"I hope we can run better than we have been and just execute; that's what we need to do. I hope we can just execute. We would like to run the ball but we are not going to give up the passing game."

"This is the eighth time we have played against Tommy. The newness of it is worn out and Florida State is playing Clemson, that's the way I look at this game on Saturday."

    Defensive Tackle Andre Fluellen
on how injuries on the defensive line will affect the team

"There has not been a noticeable drop off. Of course, we can't replace Paul in only a week. But Alex Boston coming over - he's big and strong enough to play d-tackle. He's doing a good job so far so it has not really been a drop off. Alex is going to play the tackle and me a Kendrick will slide over to the nose tackle spot. That's the pan right now. "

    Wide receiver Richard Goodman

on FSU's offensive needing to produce more due to a banged up defense

"There aren't too many things we are changing but there are (a few). We are coming out with a chip on our shoulder. We just have to execute. Coach Jeff (Bowden) does a great job of calling the plays. We just have to execute. We have to do that very well like we have been doing all week long."

    Tight end Caz Piurowski

on this week's preparations for Clemson

"It went great. We got a little more work in than we did last week. Hopefully we will come out a little more prepared Saturday and it will show."

    Tight end Caz Piurowski

on FSU's offensive needing to produce more due to a banged up defense

"I think the offense will step it up and we are not going to have a need for the defense to have to pick us up. The defense is going to do a great job. The offense is going to do a great job and we are both going to pick each other up."
