Thursday Practice Report

· Florida State worked out for 15 periods Thursday in preparation for Saturday's 7:45 kickoff with Clemson on ESPN.

· The defense moved onto Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium after six periods to work with crowd noise.

· Most of the day was spent working versus Clemson scout teams.

· The defense worked on down and distance situations.

He's doing a good job so far so it has not really been a drop off. Alex is going to play the tackle and me a Kendrick will slide over to the nose tackle spot. That's the pan right now. "

"There aren't too many things we are changing but there are (a few). We are coming out with a chip on our shoulder. We just have to execute. Coach Jeff (Bowden) does a great job of calling the plays. We just have to execute. We have to do that very well like we have been doing all week long."
