Fisher Silences Players And Hannah Begins Practice

Offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher barred his players from speaking to the media because he was so upset with their effort in the fifth day of preseason camp. In an equal opportunity move, defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews was equally upset and kept his group for extra work. This despite the fact that the defense had allowed only one TD in goal line drills.

Tight end Jonathan Hannah participated in Saturday's practice in shorts and jersey - his first day of working out with his new team. The junior college transfer who originally signed and played with South Carolina showed he can catch the football in limited work.

Hannah must comply with the NCAA acclimation guidelines that require players to gradually work toward wearing full pads on the fifth day.
