    Noles Continue Preparations For Gators

    FSU Sports Information Excerpts:

The FSU football team practiced for 20 periods Tuesday as the team really turned its focus towards the defending national champions. The Gators (8-3) and Seminoles (7-4) are both coming off wins last week. This is the first time under Bobby Bowden the teams have met were FSU has been un-ranked in back-to-back games. The Seminoles have already upset one of the nation's top teams on the road this year (BC) and are preparing to try and do the same thing to their rivals from Gainesville.

The team practiced for 20 periods in shells on Tuesday.
As usual the entire start of practice was dedicated to working versus the scout teams.

When the units finally came together on field one they went into pass rush and skel.

In pass rush Rodney Hudson, Ryan McMahon and Jacky Claude all won a couple of battles and Evan Bellamy also got a win. For the defense Neefy Moffett, Budd Thacker and Kendrick Stewart all beat there men twice. Paul Griffin, Alex Boston and Letroy Guion also got to the QB.

In skel Drew Weatherford connected with Joslin Shaw and De'Cody Fagg. Christian Ponder and Xavier Lee both hit Preston Parker. Defensively Geno Hayes, Darius McClure and Ochuko Jenije all broke up passes.

Practice concluded with 11-on-11. Drew Weatherford hit Parker and Fagg while Christian Ponder found Parker as well.

"Antone worked again today, he looks okay to me, no contact, but he's running good. I think he's okay."
