Duke No-No...Blue Devils Lose Receiver...Kenan Gets Extra Seats

The Baltimore Sun discovered that Duke provided Rutgers with extra game film of Maryland. According to ACC policy, that's a no-no. Duke needed to alert Maryland before giving the film to Rutgers. The Blue Devils didn't. The Duke video coordinator, who previously worked at Maryland, gave the extra tape to Rutgers because Rutgers had helped Duke with an extra game tape of Navy.

Duke loses more than a third receiver with Raphael Chestnut out indefinitely from a knee injury he suffered at Miami. Chestnut was one of the best downfield blockers the Blue Devils have had in the passing game — 915 yards and nine TDs in its last three games — this season. Chestnut also had 12 receptions for 188 yards but had also become a key special teams player on punt returns and coverage. FSU plays Duke Oct. 27.

Workers were constructing bleachers in front of the old field house at Kenan Stadium on Tuesday. They will provide seats for about 1,000 extra fans for UNC's game against Miami on Saturday, and then South Carolina the following weekend. Those games will mark the third and fourth sellouts of the season for Carolina, which has lost four straight.
