Wake Forest QB Riley Skinner was all everything in the ACC last year. The 6'1" 200 pound Skinner who is from Jacksonville, Florida's Bolles High School was voted ACC Rookie of the Year in 2006. He was a three-time recipient of the ACC Rookie of the Week award (September 11, November 13, November 27), set 10 new school records for passing in his rookie year, and led the ACC in passing efficiency (139.6) and completion percentage (65.8). He was a key player in Wake being the ACC champions in 2006. For 2007, Skinner has 676 yards, 2 TDs, and 7 interceptions. in the last game against Duke, Skinner threw for 221 yards and an interception. Skinner missed two games this year due to a separated shoulder. FSU will be his third game since coming back from the injuty.
On the Nole side,Xavier Lee starts his second full game at QB and hopefully it will be a continuation of marked improvement on offense. Lee in his last game against NC State had 257 yards and 1 Td. In addition, he had a rushing TD himself. Lee has shown that he can manage the offense and play within himself.
