FSU Fans Cancelling Rooms for Florida Game

Florida State football fans may be showing their displeasure with the 2006 season with their feet - and their phones.

Local hoteliers report numerous cancellations for this weekend - one that's normally sold out for the annual season-ending contest with arch-rival University of Florida. The cancellations have given rise to speculation that the Seminoles' poor showing this year (6-5) and Florida's No. 3 national ranking might have persuaded some fans not to spend the money to attend this year

My View: Maybe the fans have decided to go fishing instead. It would have been a nice gesture if Bobby Bowden on his weekly call in show had thanked the fans and boosters for their support this year. Not one word was mentioned by him. I guess that is because he thinks we need him more than he needs us.
