FSU coaches are hopeful that fullback Joe Surratt will be able to play Saturday after a shoulder injury kept him out of the Western Michigan game.
“I just needed to give it a little rest,” Surratt said. “It's working out good. We hit a little bit (on Tuesday) and it didn't hurt.”
Another player who expects to play Saturday is backup safety Darius McClure. Without him in the game, FSU does not have a backup for either free safety Roger Williams or rover Myron Rolle.
