Myron Rolle, the academically and athletically gifted freshmen safety for FSU has a few things to perhaps settle with Percy Harvin, the freshmen receiver for the Gators.
The rivalry between Myron Rolle and Percy Harvin began in practices of the Army All-American Bowl following their senior seasons. Rolle, a safety from New Jersey, was rated as the No. 1 overall prospect in the country by ESPN.com. Harvin, a wide receiver from Virginia Beach, Va., was the top-rated prospect by Rivals.com. The two were on the same team, and word from those prep All-Star practices is that the verbal exchanges were sometimes lively between the two.
Both have excelled at their respective positions this year. Rolle, FSU's starting rover, is third on the team in tackles with 53. Harvin has 20 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown.
Rolle, the usually quiet do your job player had a few things to say about his next meeting with Harvin this Saturday."Everybody has a job. Everybody has an assignment. Do your job. But once (I do) my job and have it all settled and I'm in my zone, and if I happen to see him coming across the middle, it should be a fun thing. It should be a good occurrence."
