Jeff Bowden will not coach in a bowl game if Florida State qualifies for one. And in a one-page termination agreement between FSU's offensive coordinator and the university, he will be paid a total of $537,000 by Seminole Boosters Inc. with non-donor revenue over the course of five years beginning on Aug. 7, 2007. The severance agreement comes a day after Bowden resigned.
Although the Seminole Boosters can do what they want, I think it is ludicrous for them to pay this amount to Bowden. This should make current and future contributors think twice before giving money to the boosters.
