    Nole Crowd Gets The Ball

Despite the fact that the FSU offense seemed clueless, the home crowd at Doak Campbell Stadium remained hopeful and exuberant until almost the end. The game ball goes to the Nole crowd for their support of a Nole team that needs much more than the crowd.

This was very possibly the loudest FSU game I've ever attended. One of the biggest reasons for why the crowd got that hyped up though was due to the ridiculous number of penalties. The crowd's anger was massive. When a drive's momentum ends due to a 15yd face mask call on Marcus White where the replay CLEARLY shows that he hadn't grabbed Skinner above the chest, there is little FSU can do. Was it the offense's fault that they lost? Yes. Did the refs contribute a lot though? Yes.
