Noles Get Back Players This Week

The Noles will have seven players back from suspension this Saturday for their game against Colorado. Cornerback Patrick Robinson, linebacker Dekoda Watson and defensive linemen Paul Griffin, Neefy Moffett and Justin Mincey will help out Mickey Andrew's defense. For the offense, Caz Piurowski returns at tight end. Brandon Davis will also provide depth on the offensive line.

Don't look now but Colorado and Florida State are two of the most penalized teams in the country after three games. The Buffs and Seminoles are tied at 108th in the nation in penalties this season with 25 each. The Seminoles have been penalized for 242 yards while the Buffs have 183 yards.

Speaking of penalties, FSU wide receiver Corey Surrency came into the Wake game with three touchdown catches and no penalties. However, against Wake Forest, Surrency had zero catches, but twice was called for 15-yard blocking-below-the-waist penalties.

Not only did FSU lose to Wake but it was also a bad day for Bobby Bowden. Bowden was passed by Joe Paterno on the all-time major college win list. The Nittany Lions' win over Temple gave Joe Pa 376 wins to Bowden's 375.
