Ga Tech 7 North Carolina 0
Tashard Choice ran for 119 yards and a touchdown to help No. 19 Georgia Tech beat North Carolina 7-0 on Saturday, clinching a spot in the Dr. Pepper ACC Championship.
Boston College 28 Duke 7
Duke couldn't gain less than a yard on a play that would have kept it in the game. Boston College wouldn't give the Blue Devils another shot to hang around.
The Blue Devils failed to get a first down on fourth down from the BC 2 when a touchdown would have tied the game early in the third quarter. The Eagles then marched 97 yards on the ensuing drive, scoring on Andre Callender's 26-yard run that sparked them to a 28-7 win Saturday night over winless Duke.
Maryland 14 Miami 13
Playing five days after the shooting death of their senior leader, the emotionally drained Miami Hurricanes played valiantly before succumbing to No. 23 Maryland 14-13 Saturday.
Virgina Tech 23 Kent State 0
Brandon Pace kicked three field goals to set a school record with 19 consecutive successful attempts and No. 20 Virginia Tech posted its third shutout of the season in a 23-0 victory over Kent State on Saturday
Clemson 20 NC State 14
C.J. Spiller ran for a career-high 154 yards and a touchdown and Jad Dean kicked the go-ahead fourth-quarter field goal as Clemson beat North Carolina State 20-14 Saturday to break a two-game losing streak.
