The Jimbo watch seems to be occupying the time of not only FSU fans but LSU fans and the Louisiana newspapers. The Times-Picayune quotes LSU athletic officials who are denying reports in Florida newspapers that Florida State Coach Bobby Bowden had flown to Baton Rouge to discuss the job.

The paper quotes LSU athletic department spokesman Michael Bonnette as saying,"He (Fisher) said the story was simply not true, and that it didn't make sense because he and Bowden already know each other and have a relationship and he wouldn't have had to do that if something serious were happening,"
