Because the LSU Tigers will play in a BCS bowl game, in this case Jan. 3 against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, assistant LSU coaches will receive bonuses for playing in a BCS bowl.
LSU Offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher who is the front runner for the FSU offensive coordinator position will receive a BCS bowl bonus of $64,000, LSU senior associate athletic director Herb Vincent said Thursday.
