UCLA Practicing Hard for Emerald Bowl

Bruins coach Karl Dorrell said backup defensive tackle Chase Moline had injections to alleviate the pain in his back. Moline, who missed three games, said earlier this season he was suffering from a herniated disc. At this point, Moline is expected to play against Florida State.

UCLA is treating this bowl practice session like it is training camp. The Bruins are doing a lot of hitting, and working rapidly. Players are saying that it is the toughest bowl practice sessions they've had. Insiders are saying that there is real motivation from the coaching staff to build off the USC win, and not fall flat against Florida State.
